"Vera Gapanovich — The Poet’s Sister"

On April 4, the museum hosted a lecture titled "Vera Gapanovich – The Poet’s Sister. Greetings from the Banks of the Volga"

The lecture was delivered by senior researcher Irina Myshkavets, who also conducted a mini-tour of the exhibition "My Family." Attendees learned many new facts about the poet’s relatives and saw a unique artifact—a 1913 copy of the poetry collection "The Wreath" ("Venok") with Maxim Bogdanovich’s autograph.

The poet had once gifted this book to his cousin Vera Gapanovich, after which it was kept in the family archives. The current owner of "The Wreath," Vera’s great-grandson Grigory Barakhovich, has temporarily entrusted it to the museum for safekeeping.

Don’t miss this opportunity—come and see it while you can!
